Background

My art was a part of me....but,

I wasn't going to do this, so I graduated as an Electrical Engineer
and designed computers; and I kept doing this part time.
I was good at that so they made me a manager of people
building computers; but I kept doing this some times.
I did that well so they made me an officer of a company
selling computers; doing this occasionally.
When the company and I outgrew each other, I left and
started a software business; doing this rarely.
And finally, I said.....I'm going to do this

and so now, I do this all the time.

Artist's Statement

My interest is texture; sometimes this is best presented without color.
When you look out.....what you see, the landscapes, are framed by
foregrounds,
........this is life seen from your perspective.
Take away the color and you can see a rich texture that you often miss.
The views I have seen have drawn me in; I share them with you.
